Cleaning Out

Enemas (or douching) can be used for different purposes - to clean out before anal play, as a punishment or even as a form of humiliation in certain scenes. The end result (no pun intended) is the same - the content of the receiver's bowels will eventually be emptied and thus the lower GI tract will be clean.

In general enemas are not dangerous. That being said, there are some things to keep in mind. Douching too frequently may cause all sorts of problems,
because the bacteria within the intestines will be flushed out along with the waste matter. This can be corrected easily through the use of live culture
yogurts and supplements like acidophilus (which can be found in almost any grocery store or drug store). In general there are two different enemas: water
and "chemical" ones. Chemical enemas or douches force the bowels to contract almost immediately and expel waste quickly, but water ones really clean the
GI tract by using the body's natural peristalsis action and therefore are preferred pre-fisting. (There are some fistees that will use a combination of
methods - popping a chemical suppository to get the process started and then finish with water. When it comes to quantities of water: anything between half
a liter and a liter (up to 1/4 gallon) is safe, depending on the size of the body. However, especially for those just starting out - less is better. You may
have to repeat as you learn your own body, what is needs and the best method for cleaning out YOUR hole (everyone is different). A good rule of thumb is to
only fill your hole until you feel full.

A fringe benefit of douching is that it can improve the body's waste removal process. It also rehydrates the body more quickly than drinking water (since
anything put into the intestines is more readily absorbed by the body without the natural filters of digestion. This is a good thng, since most people don't
drink enough water.

To properly douche, you will need three things: liquid, a tube, hose or bottle and a place for the waste. Some people use the fleet enemas that you can get
in any drugstore. There are also enema bags, bulbs and shower shots (a hose that attaches to the shower head with a wand at the end for insertion into
the rectum). The only rule of thumb when douching is to only clean what you're going to use. For example, If I'm going to get fucked by a cock, I'll do a
shallow clean, but if I'm going to get fisted, I'll clean quite a bit deeper. If the clean-out is part of a scene, then your partner(s) may assist, but if the
enema is only preparation, you will want to clean out before your partner arrives or before you go out for the evening, since it generally can take a while.

For Enema bags: Thoroughly clean the nozzle by washing it with hot water and anti-bacterial soap - rinse with lots of clean water afterwards to get rid
of any soapy residue. Make sure the connections are properly sealed and will not slip off accidentally. Fill the enema bag with lukewarm water according to
the instructions. Slowly insert the nozzle into your anus. Keep the bag at the same level as your rump while inserting the nozzle. Unclamp the tube or open
the tab (depending on your type of enema bag) and slowly lift the bag to start the fluid moving (this allows gravity to do the work). You want the fluid to
go in slowly and with as little pressure as possible. Lift the bag higher if more pressure is required or if the fluid stops until the bag is completely
empty and all the fluid is inside your anus. Once all the fluid is inside you, carefully remove the nozzle from your butt. Hold the liquid inside you until
you feel you "have to go". Expel normally over the toilet. You'll need to repeat this process a few times until the liquid runs clear. I always wait a few
minutes after I think I'm done to make sure I don't have any excess water inside me - walk around, brush your teeth, whatever. You may find that you'll
need to expel again without adding any additional liquid.

For Fleet enemas (and other bulbs): If you are using a fleet enema, do not wash the tip as it is probably lightly lubricated for ease of insertion.
Make sure the bottle/bulb is properly sealed and will not slip off accidentally. Fleet suggests you lie on your side with your top knee pulled up towards
your chest or to be on your knees with your chest on the floor, both of which are good positions, but not necessary. Just be comfortable when you start.
Slowly insert the nozzle into your anus. Squeeze the bottle or bulb emptying as much of the fluid into your ass as possible. Once all the fluid is inside you,
carefully remove the nozzle from your butt. I don't find the capacity to be big enough, so I refill the fleet bottle with lukewarm water and repeat. Hold the
liquid inside you until you feel you "have to go". Expel normally over the toilet. You'll need to repeat this process a few times until the liquid runs clear. I
always wait a few minutes after I think I'm done to make sure I don't have any excess water inside me - walk around, brush your teeth, whatever. You may
find that you'll need to expel again without adding any additional liquid.

For shower shots: Thoroughly clean the nozzle by washing it with hot water and anti-bacterial soap - rinse with lots of clean water afterwards to get rid
of any soapy residue. Make sure the connections are properly sealed and will not slip off accidentally. Adjust the pressure on the hose so that it is steady, but
not too strong. You should be able to spray your balls with the hose without discomfort. If you can't then lower the pressure until you can. Slowly insert the
nozzle into your anus. You want the fluid to go in slowly, but steadily. Once you feel "full" remove the nozzle. Hold the liquid inside you until you feel you
"have to go". You can either get out of the shower and expel normally over the toilet or you can expel in the tub (which is easier, but requires clean-up). You'll
need to repeat this process a few times until the liquid runs clear. I always wait a few minutes after I think I'm done to make sure I don't have any excess water
inside me - walk around, brush your teeth, whatever. You may find that you'll need to expel again without adding any additional liquid.

NOTE: Some people like to use a buttplug to help hold the fluid. This is also good to help relax the sphincter and to prime the hole for later. If you choose
to use this method, make sure you lube the buttplug before sliding it in your hole. Also, because you are flushing out your lower GI tract, it is a good idea to
drink a gatorade or other electrolyte-rich drink to avoid dehydration.
